How do you use the TV Tuner on a Dell Im10-2895 mini laptop (netbook)?
I just bought this today and the book says that it has it. It says to go to start, all programs, main menu, entertainment, Live Tv and to reconfigure to click on the powercinema in the start menu, entertainment, live tv, advanced, settings, run setup wizzard. I did not have Live TV under anything and I didnt have anything that said powercinema. Please help
I think you might not have the TV Dongle (CARD) plugged into the USB , I don't think it is inbuilt into your Laptop, or you just have a Model where it is not installed ,just read the fine print again to make sure, If it is inbuilt you may check it in your Hardware Manager by going to your Control Panel, select System, then Hardware, then Device Manager and look for a Tv anything under Sound & Video controller

The hdmi output is only for output. Its for connecting up like a big lcd or plasma tv to your laptop. Sometimes it can be used for other things like projectors or whatever, but its never for input. If you need input use one of the other ports, like for instance, usb.

I have a dell latitude D610, and a few months ago my brother accidentally spilled a bit of water onto my keyboard (he denies it). Since then, a few of my keys have stopped working, and every now and then my "w" key keeps running without me pressing anything. I don't have any problem with the disabled keys, I just got a new keyboard linked to it, but the "w" problem still runs, and plus it makes a lot of booping noises. Sometimes restarting the computer helps, sometimes not. The "w" problem is comes in at really random times, and so I'm wondering, can I fix this problem? Or am I too late?
If there's liquid in it and you power it up, there's a good chance you fried the keyboard, the best course of action would be take it apart, let the PARTS dry for at least a day, the clean all the contacts and anything else that could corrode, then put her back together and fire her up. if the keyboard is indeed fried don't worry it's easily repaired and not too expensive. Try ebay if you need a new keyboard.

Ok so I remember seeing an add on TV a couple years ago about a laptop that was a normal laptop with a keyboard and screen but could swivel to cover the keyboard making it like a touchsreen thing. Can you please help me out? I have two questions:

its not a certain make or model, its a whole separate style called a tablet notebook computer. Lenovo (formerly IBM), Toshiba, and HP all have their own version of these. Its not incredibly outdated, if you are really into the concept then its still worth it to buy one!
