It's not the headphones themselves since I plugged them into my iPod and they worked just fine. I checked to make sure I plugged them into the right spot and not the hole for the microphone. Every time I plug them in, the sound just keeps coming from the speakers. I've been having problems with the sound lately and I don't know what it is. I even tried downloading the sound driver from the maker's website but couldn't because I already have the driver. I have Windows Vista running on a Toshiba A205 Satellite laptop. Any suggestions?
Maybe the jack isnt hooked up to your motherboard.
As for the drivers, if they are faulty you have to remove them before reinstalling them.

I cant send files via bluetooth to my computer. Why?
I have a D-Link bluetooth USB dongle for my laptop for transferring files.
It works with many, many mobiles; any that i've owned before and any my fiancee has owned too, but for some reason my new LG GT540 phone wont send files across.
Whenever I send a picture/video to the computer it gets to around 30% and then fails saying unable to send.
I've tried many things and searching online for a solution but I cant find anything, so I'm hoping someone else has had the same problem and has managed to find a solution.
I can email the pictures from my mobile to my email easy enough but the video and music files are too large

Use a usb lead. You have a socket on your phone for this.
