Since the beginning of December 2008, the website www.youtube.com is unavailable.. This complain is made by almost all users of youtube in the United Arab Emirates.. Strangely, few users in UAE is still able to open the site.. For example, it works on my home pc but not on my laptop using the same internet provider.. also, a friend of mine can open YouTube on his laptop while me along with many others couldn't even that we all share the same office..
I'm in Abu Dhabi - UAE and there is only one internet provider in UAE, which is "Etisalat"
Hope that you can help on this problem..
1) Cable cut in mid December will not be fully resolved until 5 January. That may be your problem.
OR
2) They have taken the opportunity to block it like many other web sites.
In either case the personal vpn will solve the problem to YouTube and every other web site in the world which may be blocked.

So I have a Fender G-Dec 30 guitar amp and I am wondering what MIDI cable to get for it. I looked through the booklet and the forums and all that, but nothing useful there.
I'm not looking for an interface (unless its inexpensive like under $100).
I have a new (2009) MacBook Pro w/ Snow Leopard and a 2007 MacBook. And Garage Band and Logic Express.
So, if anyone has this amp and/or computer setup and has recommendations, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

by the sounds of it you have no midi output on your mac., i.e one on an external soundcard/external midi interface so you need someway to send the midi messages from your mac to your amp. your best option is a usb to midi cable. There are plenty available but Id recommend the m audio usb midisport, it costs $39 from amazon (check the link below). There are cheaper alternatives but I own this product and a couple of other m audio products and would have no hesitation in recommending them.
