hi, I have an HP TouchSmart TX2 Tablet PC with a 12.1 screen and I'm going to buy a backpack, i also need it to be able to carry 1 or 2 books, wich one do you recomend??? I would like it to look good, protect my laptop and not be too big
I think this is a great one. I got this one a month ago and i love it. It's a sports backpack and easily fits my 14" laptop and and 2-3 books and other small things and a bottle of water or soda. I am sure u'll have even more room left with a 12.1" screen.

I personally don't think the regular cases are comfortable, especially if you are in school. This one is really comfortable.

How do I repair a one inch crack in the outside top cover of my Compaq laptop computer?
The crack is located just above where the left hinge attaches the monitor screen to the base of the laptop computer. Fortunately, for now, it is only on the top plastic covering of the outside screen cover; but, I do not want the crack to spread. Any solutions to fix this without damaging the inside of the top monitor screen? Thanks for any help.

The only way I know of to adjust my brightness is by using fn+up or down, and my up key is broken... I accidentally set it down and now it is stuck at the dullest level. Is there an alternate method to changing brightness through a command?

Nevermind, thanks anyways. I found out on my own. Anyone who might stumble onto this question in need of the same help, all I did was restart PC-hit f12-go into bios-down to screen settings or whatever- then change the brightness back up or down.
of course you can goto power options and you should see something that says adjust brightness.

I have a hard time understanding the difference between a laptop and a mini laptop. I plan on getting a laptop pretty soon and I'd like to know which to get. I like how small the mini laptop is but I want it to be able to do everything I need it to do. Can a mini laptop hold Microsoft Word and iTunes and all that kid of stuff or will I need a regular laptop for that? I need to be able to do more than just get on the internet. Which would you recommend?
Most of the minis will do everything the larger laptops will. There are some differences. The screen on the mini is much smaller so if you want to watch movies or a large screen is important to you then you might want to go to the full size laptop. Also many of the minis don't have a CD/ROM in them so that may also be a concern (you can buy an external CD/ROM-DVD player/recorder for $100-150 that is fairly compact if you need).

Possibly, depending on the router. If the router has an Ethernet WAN connection then it is possible but difficult. You will need to understand IP subnet addressing and DHCP.
It is not possible to connect your laptop to the router using an ADSL connection.
