blinking or light goes out on ac adapter on laptop and no boot?
I have purchased a used Dell Precision D60 laptop which will not boot- no power at all with or without good battery and proven ac adapter. Blinking, or light goes out on ac adapter, when attached to laptop and no boot! Could this be the voltage regulator and is it easy to replace?
It is the power supply. It has died. You will have to replace the power supply and motherboard (they are both connected and integrated.) Instead of throwing money at this laptop it, you may use this time to upgrade and get a new laptop.

Does my Acer Aspire One netbook have a tv out function / video format?
I want to connect the netbook to my projector with a vga to component wire, but what I've read suggests that this is only doable if the netbook supports the tv-out function. The video card in my netbook is whatever the stock video card that comes with an aspire one netbook would be. Thanks.
