Because of company and customer requirments I have two laptop systems. They work on different networks and have to be configured differently. I need both of them when I work from home or travel and carrying two laptop cases and having to check one is not working very will. I need a case that will carry both systems and can be taken as a carry on item. The only other factor is I need to be able to keep my power supplies, two network cables and one small mouse in the bag. Other than that color, material, and any other factor do not matter to me.
I have a laptop case that I found out in the trash that I use for work. It can hold 2 laptops. So, I at least know they exist. (But, it's big and heavy.)

I thought my laptop was a 15", but I didn't realize the measurement is supposed to be taken diagonally, which means mine is actually a 16". I ended up buying a 15.4" laptop case. I can get it in and out pretty easily (just a bit of difficulty - nothing serious). But I'm just wondering if anything can happen to my laptop since it's a bit too small? To me, buying one too small is better than buying one too big? (it could get damaged more easily if it's too big?)
Too big is better. You're always going to find more stuff you want to put in the case with the laptop.
