Many different BSOD and not one solution?
I have been getting these on my laptop for way too long and I don't know how to fix them! Sometimes they happen back-to-back but other times I don't see them for days. I used BlueScreenView to try to find the causes except I don't know what to do after that. The most common ones I get are:
MEMORY_MANAGEMENT: 0x0000001a, caused by fltmgr.sys, ntoskrnl.exe, igdkmd64.sys, dxgmms1.sys
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA: 0x00000050, caused by hal.dll, athrx.sys, ntoskrnl.exe, Ntfs.sys
BAD_POOL_HEADER: 0x00000019 caused by dxgkrnl.sys
There are more (DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, NTFS_FILE_SYSTEM, KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED) but they are mostly all caused by the drivers stated adove.
I'm desperate to fix this but I can't really afford to send it to a professional right now. What do I do!?
I have:
ASUS UL30A, Windows 7 64bit, 4GB RAM, Intel Core 2 Duo, 465GB Hard Drive.
I would advise backing up all your data onto cd/dvds, external hard drives and/or flash drives before embarking on fixing this problem yourself.
These BSODS are pointing mainly to memory errors, or problems in the way the OS is being processed with the RAM.
NOTE: THIS NEXT STEP IS TO BE TAKEN ON ANOTHER COMPUTER WITH A CD BURNER:
I would start this self-diagnosis by utilizing a memory testing program called "memtest86".

You will have to unzip this file after d/ling, then you will have to burn this iso file to a CD to make it a bootable CD that will run the memtest program without windows running. To do this, follow these instructions:

You will end up with a CD that can be used to start memtest upon computer bootup. Read this guide on how to use memtest:

If memtest shows no errors, you will have to boot into safe mode by tapping f8 as the computer is going through the boot process and selecting the safe mode option. Now you can try further methods-
I would try re-installing video drivers. Go to this site:

enter your model number and navigate to the "vga drivers". Install them after downloading and restart the computer.
If still BSODS after this, check the hard drive for errors. Do this by following this guide:

If there are still problems, hardware is failing in the laptop. It will either be the power supply, power brick or the motherboard. You will not be able to diagnose these yourselves and throwing new parts at the laptop will only be expensive and possibly unnecessary. Independent computer repair shops will be your only option from here on out, as they have the equipment needed to test these components further.
