I just purchased a new laptop. It's wonderful, but I want to make sure it's protected when I am traveling. I am having a very hard time finding a tote bag that I will be able to hold my school books as well as the laptop. It has a 17.3 inch screen and I never thought I would have so many issues finding a bag to carry it around with me. I am not looking for something that rolls, I would really like a tote bag that I can carry on my shoulder. I am able to find bags that are $100+ but I don't want to spend that much money on a bag. Does anyone have any any suggestions on where I can start looking. I've been on Amazon, ebay, HSN, QVC, and searched on yahoo but I just can't seem to find anything that works. Any suggestions are welcomed... thanks!
i have a jansport bag that i ordered of the internet. I love it it was about $70. It has three large pockets an ipod pocket on the top and all the other little pockets you may need. It has a sleeve that will hold a 17 inch laptop. I couldn't be happier with it. Also if you want your computer to be completely protected you should look into a plastic case that clips on, as well as an incase neoprene sleeve. You may not care for the plastic clip on case and i understand that, but i would seriously suggest the incase neoprene sleeve it is very protective

I'm looking for a messenger bag with backpack straps that i can buy off the internet. My internet search has left me to find nothing but laptop messenger bags with the backpack straps and this i don't want. I'm looking for something somewhat large or atleast with more than one comparment/pocket and a more laid back, canvas type, personal messenger bag feel. Not the business, laptop carrying look.
