Dell Latitude 610 - Hard disk capacity 60gb but XP shows only 25gb?

I have Dell Latitude D610.

I recently installed Windows XP after formatting the entire hard drive (fresh installation) while formatting initially it asked for the space and i just gave 25gb (i think it was asking for primary partition that time).

So after formatting and installation it just shows the hard disk capacity of 25 gb other 35gb is kinda lost and i'm not able to see that.

What can i do to get that space formatted and use it.

Hard Disk: Fujitsu MHV2060AH
OS: Windows XP Pro (SP 2)
RAM: 1gb

For the safest result is best to use a program like Partition Manager. It will allow you to expand the C: drive space to the maximum space possible. The program is easy to use, has some safety fetures built in, but you still need to be careful when choosing which partitions to change.
Alternatively in XP, you can right click on the "My Computer" icon, select "Manage" then under "Storage", select "Disk Management" to edit, change format, partitions. Note there are few safeguards here, so any mistakes can require a full backup, and XP reinstall.

NOTE! deleting a partition deletes all the material within that section, so backup anything you wnat first. If you delete the petition holding the C: drive, you will need the original OEM XP disks to reinstall the XP software. If you upgraded to XP, you will also need the W98 OS disks.
